Craig Deimler CGR, CAPS, RCS - Sales and Design

Born and raised in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Craig attended Penn State University where he graduated, in 1994, with a Bachelor of Science in Labor Industrial Relations and Business Management. He currently oversees residential design, drafting and estimating.

His designs have won numerous awards for their creativity as well as their ability to blend into the existing house and surroundings. Each project he designs is developed to solve the client's needs, problems and frustrations as well as find creative solutions to the challenges that each project presents.   In his leisure time he enjoys swimming, reading, vacationing with his family, public speaking, playing the organ and golfing.

Gary Deimler CGR -Construction Manager

Born and raised in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Gary has been working in construction since graduating from high school. He worked as a framing carpenter during the day and as an electrician's assistant during the night.

Gary is married and has 3 children Craig, Lori & Mark.

After being laid off in Jan. of 1975, he started his own company, Gary Deimler CGR Custom Home and Remodeling.

With inflation in the double digits, he took small repair jobs to keep things going. Since those modest beginnings, he has grown the company into a full service remodeling and custom home building firm.

He currently uses his years of experience to design and estimate customized projects for our clients.

Gary, along with his son Craig, charts the course the company will take and insures high levels of customer service and quality construction.

Gary enjoys gardening, hiking, biking, camping, hunting, fishing, horse back riding & traveling. Gary is looking forward to finishing his Horse Barn and traveling to every state with his wife Nancy.

Mark A. Smith, CGP – Production Manager

When not at work, Mark enjoys spending time with the three women in his life, his wife Carol and two daughters, Cassandra and Alexsys.  They enjoy packing up and going camping.  Mark also enjoys golfing, painting and getting his hands dirty with building and landscaping.  He is very active in the community; Mark sits on the Borough Council and coaches softball.

Mark continues to educate himself, and in addition to being a Certified Green Professional (CGP) and Lead Based Paint Certified Renovator, he is working towards becoming a Certified Grad Remodeler (CGR).  At some point, he hopes to Run a division of Deimler & Sons.  He also would like to retire down South in the Carolina’s and travel cross country, camping in every state.

Nathan Behling – Design and Drafting

Graduating from Rhode Island School of Design with a Bachelors of Architecture and Bachelors of Fine Arts, he joins the Deimler team enthusiastically with 4 years experience with various local architecture firms.  Having remodeled ongoing projects with his parents, the residential side of architecture has always been prevalent and ultimately where his design goals shine.

He finds himself sketching quite frequently, running, and tinkering with his car.  Vacationing at the beach is just one getaway from the hustle of everyday life. 

Nathan hopes to continue progressing his knowledge of new technologies and projects that will further the design of future projects.

Michelle Sauder – Sales and Design

Michelle was born and raised in central Pennsylvania which is where she returned after graduating from The Art Institute of Philadelphia with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. 

For over five years she has creatively designed solutions to client’s remodeling needs that are custom to both their lifestyles and budgets.

She also has earned her Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) designation and hopes to continue in the development of her design and construction knowledge to better serve her clients.

When she is not designing, she enjoys spending time with friends and family.  She likes being active and trying new things like wakeboarding and skiing but can certainly appreciate a lazy day on the beach as well.

David DeVanie – Project Leader

David has been with Deimler & Sons for 9 years, and with over 35 years experience, he brings skill and expertise with him.  He enjoys fishing, grilling, music, restoring furniture, and playing sports with his wife and three children.  After finishing home renovations, David hopes to design and build his own home to retire to.

Dave Fox– Project Leader

Dave has been a part of the Deimler & Sons team for 17 years. and has 30+ years experience.   He likes to travel with his wife and two kids,  soccer, college football, as well as some good Bluegrass music.  He hopes to survive teaching his kids to drive, as well as see them graduate from college, while staying healthy and relaxing as he continues to travel.

With 16 years at Deimler & Sons, Joe continues to progress into the leadership role.  Spending time with his wife and 2 boys, he is quite an active outdoorsman, whether he is fire fighting, hunting, fishing, or riding ATV’s or snowmobiles, he remains a part of the Deimler Team.

Donnie Zimmerman– Project Leader

Enjoying life, traveling, staying healthy and active are key philosophies for Donnie and his wife.  They both love the outdoors, and being an active part of them. Recreational time is spent boating, kayaking, hunting, fishing and camping.  28 years with Deimler & Sons team, and he continues to soldier on

Matt Ayers– Support Crew

A decade has past since joining Deimler & Sons, and Matt continues to grow with the company.  His family has also grown with the arrival of a newborn.  Together they enjoy playing sports, and Matt is part of a local hockey team.  He enjoys camping and motorcycle riding and hopes to raise a happy and healthy family while remodeling his own home.

Bob Hopple– Support Crew

Bob has over 30 years experience, and 10 years with Deimler & Sons Construction.  His hobbies include hunting, fishing, camping, gardening, being healthy and self sufficient.  He hopes to retire with his wife and explore the U.S. and Canada via their camper.

Mike has been with the Deimler team for 3 years, but has been working in the field for over 25 years.  His wife and four children are a main focus in his life, and enjoys spending time together.  He likes spending time hunting and having a good time with friends.
